- Donate the candy to soldiers overseas. Operation Gratitude and Soldiers Angels are organizations that team up with local dentists and other businesses to ship the donated candy to military personnel. By visiting their website you can find local places that are collecting the candy or instructions on how to send it yourself.
- Call your local chapter of the Ronald McDonald House Charities and find out the rules for donating candy to their homes for the families of sick children.
- Contact your local soup kitchen, homeless shelter, food pantry, retirement or nursing home. Many of these places will accept and use unopened Halloween candy.
Spread the sweetness this season and share some candy with those around you!
